Crafted slowly. Printed to last.
Shaped by quiet hours, shifting weather, and the patient watching that defines life by the sea, each photograph is selected from years of work and printed with archival pigment inks on museum‑grade cotton rag. Every piece is trimmed, signed, and inspected by hand — crafted to bring a sense of stillness and place into your space.
Each image begins long before it reaches paper. It starts in those field moments: waiting for light to fall just right, gathering thousands of frames over years, and choosing only the ones that carry something deeper — a hint of story, a feeling that lingers after you’ve looked away.
The printing process is equally deliberate. Colours are refined through soft‑proofing and test prints until the final piece feels true. Every print is paired with a Certificate of Authenticity and presented with generous white borders for a clean, gallery‑ready presence.
What you receive is more than a print — it’s a distillation of place, patience, and craft.
An object made to last, to live with, and to offer a quiet moment each time you pass by.

Tasman Ice captures the quiet, glacial stillness of the Tasman Lake as floating ice drifts in the cold morning light. The scene is stripped back to its essentials — pale water, fractured ice, and the muted weight of the surrounding mountains. It’s a landscape shaped by time rather than weather, where everything feels slow, heavy, and deliberate. The photograph holds that sense of scale and solitude without forcing it, inviting the viewer to pause and take in the quiet work of the glacier.
Available in A3, A2, and A1.
Note: Each size is individually cropped as images do not fill or bleed to paper edge.
Location: Tasman Glacier, New Zealand
The Story Behind the Image
The snow was getting heavy as walked down to the glacier lake. The camera struggled to focus through all that snow; manual focus, crouching low and then get the shot. Another hour later, frozen but happy we were back at fire-side. Back in the digital darkroom, a narrow crop seemed best. Yes, those colours are real!
This image looks stunning at A1 size, either frame with the white space as shown or use a custom panoramic framing.
Fine Art Paper
Each image is printed on Smooth Cotton Rag (310gsm, 100% cotton) — conservation‑grade fine art paper.
Smooth Cotton Rag is mould‑made from pure cotton fibres, giving it a velvety matte surface that holds pigment in a way that preserves extremely fine detail and subtle tonal transitions. Because it contains no optical brighteners and uses archival pigment inks, the print becomes a conservation‑quality giclée designed to last for decades without yellowing or fading. This paper excels at soft gradients, atmospheric scenes, and images where texture, shadow separation, and tonal nuance matter. It’s the choice for museum‑grade work, limited editions, and collectors who value craftsmanship and longevity.
Key qualities:
100% cotton, mould‑made, OBA‑free
Exceptional detail and tonal accuracy
Matte, tactile surface ideal for fine art
True conservation quality and long-term stability
Best for limited editions, gallery work, and premium framing
As the sun dips behind the western hills, the Interislander ferry glides across Wellington Harbour like a slow-moving sculpture, its white hull catching the last golden light. The water shimmers in copper and slate, rippling gently as the ship carves a path toward Cook Strait. Hills on either side — Miramar to the east, the Hutt Valley beyond — soften into silhouette, while the sky above burns with streaks of amber and violet. Seagulls wheel overhead, their wings briefly illuminated, and the ferry’s wake stretches behind like a memory fading into dusk. It’s a moment of quiet grandeur — industrial grace meeting natural beauty in the heart of Wellington, New Zealand.
Available in A3, A2, and A1.
The Story Behind the Image
A quiet moment after sundown, watching the last light fade over Wellington Harbour and the Heads—when the Interislander ferry appeared, gliding out as if it had been choreographed.
Timing like this can’t be staged.
The ferry company reached out to use the image for free… but some moments are worth more than that.
